How it works:

- Your gift recipient will receive a stylish gift pack containing the experience gift voucher, a mini-brochure explaining what will happen on the day, instructions on how to book the experience and (if you'd like) a short personal message from you.
- They can then choose a time and date that is suitable for them.
- Experience vouchers are valid for 9 months from date of purchase
 
What happens on the day:

Prompt arrival is essential – if you miss the whitewater rafting safety briefing you will not be able to raft. When you arrive, you will normally be asked to sign an indemnity form which will also require parental/guardian signature for under 18’s. As part of a small group you will be given an initial group briefing, and then issued with the necessary safety equipment and buoyancy aid. Instruction in the raft, including paddling technique and commands. Then a run down the rapids.

Need to know:

- Minimum age 12 (18 at one location), under 18’s need parental/guardian consent
- You should be in reasonable health and a confident swimmer.  - You must be agile enough to climb into the raft
- Maximum weight 18 stone (114kgs)
- Some seasonal closures. Early booking is required for rafting, particularly for weekends and during the height of the summer season
- The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary according to venue
