The school offers a range of themed courses throughout the year – Dinner Parties (in three modules), Food of Love, Game, The Kitchen Garden (Grow and Cook Your Own) and Festive Fare. Each course covers essential techniques such as boning and filleting, making bread and sauces – giving guests the opportunity to learn to cook restaurant standard food using recipes that are adapted to home cooking. All levels of experience are catered for, and most of the day is spent “hands-on”, interspersed by a demonstration or two. At the end of the morning, a three course meal will have been prepared which will then be served as a late lunch to guests in the Cookery School Dining Room.
