How it works:
- Your gift recipient will receive a stylish gift pack containing the experience gift voucher, a mini-brochure explaining what will happen on the day, instructions on how to book the experience and (if you'd like) a short personal message from you.
- They can then choose a time and date that is suitable for them.

What happens on the day:
Upon arrival you will be welcomed by your cupcake teacher for the day. During the class you will be offered a freshly baked cupcake to try and enjoy along with an exquisite cocktail. Each guest will be given an apron and your teacher will host a question and answer session on how to make the best cupcakes with a moist sponge. You will be given the opportunity to taste a few samples to try and recreate them at home.
You will be shown some sugarcraft techniques and after a demonstration on piping, hand crafting sugar craft roses, petals and various shapes for decoration it will be your turn to try your hand at this delicate art.
You will be given 6 cupcakes to decorate with a selection of coloured frostings in piping bags. A variety of delicious decorations to help make your cupcakes look beautiful will be available and these may include silver baubles, dark vermicelli, coconut and sugar strands. You‘ll leave with a sense of pride and a box of your own beautiful cupcakes!
Need to know:
- Minimum age: 18
- Please wear casual clothing that you won’t mind getting a little messy
- All necessary equipment, aprons and supplies will be provided
- Your voucher is valid for nine months from the date of issue, kindly note that you must have booked and taken your experience before your expiry date as vouchers may not be extended beyond their expiry
- Please allow approximately 2 hours for this experience. The practical session will last for approximately 1 hour so you are welcome to take your time decorating each cake
- Workshops are available all year round on Saturday’s and Sunday’s. Start times are approximately 1.00pm, 3.30pm, 4.00pm and 6.30pm
- You will be offered either an alcoholic cocktail or a soft drink
- Kindly note: There is only one cocktail available per person which will usually be a cosmopolitan; however the exact cocktail may be subject to change
- Your experience will be hands on decorating class and you will not be making the cupcakes
